Beware of Fraudulent Ads

Impersonating Our Brands

Recently we have seen waves of online ads popping up that are impersonating Town Pump and our casino brands. These ads are promoting illegal gambling apps.

Here’s what you need to know:

1.

Online gaming is NOT legal in Montana. The Department of Justice is already on the case with these fraudsters.

2.

Our official ads are posted only on our official social media profiles and linked to our established websites.

If you see a brand new page with a vague name, it’s a scam.

3.

At this time we NEVER ask for your bank or credit card information. Not for our Real Rewards program, and not for Town Pump stores’ Pump It Up Rewards+ program.

4.

These scammers are exploiting the trust you have in us, and counting on you not spotting their subterfuge.

The end goal is for you to install their app and hand your personal information over to them directly when you register.

Please be extremely cautious! If an offer looks too good to be true, it probably is.

Here’s how you can help protect yourself & others:

Report the fraudulent ads / accounts on Facebook & Instagram.

Click on the 3 dots next to the X in the upper right of the ad, then click Report ad.
From there, select "Scam, fraud or impersonation" as the reason for reporting and go through the steps.

Don’t click on a link to anything  you’re not sure about.

Only trust information shared through our official websites and social media pages.

If you’re ever  unsure, contact us directly.

If you HAVE been impacted by these fraudsters:

File a Report with the Montana Department of Justice Office of Consumer Protection

From there, click on the button labeled Report a Scam Online

We value your trust, and we take these fraudulent attempts to misuse our name very seriously.
